Guatemalan lawmakers have passed a “Protection of Life and Family” law banning same-sex marriage and increasing abortion penalties, the Congress said in a statement.

Women in Guatemala, where abortion is legal only when the life of the mother is at risk, can now face sentences up to 10 years that before were a maximum of three.

And apparently they also allow the US government to set up torture sites there as well.

Sadly this is happening in so many countries. The human pendulum doing its constant swing.
