Stone the crows.
I put "Cloud" my pet budgie, in her cage of course, out on the front veranda so,

  1. she can enjoy some fresh air, sunshine, etc, and,
  2. so I can get a bit of peace and quiet for a while,
and what happens, no sooner is she out there, fresh food and clean water, etc, and she starts announcing to all the other birds that she is there.
Not are the Wood pigeons, the Cockies and Galahs having breakfast but it seems that Cloud has invited a stray budgie to come and visit as well.
IF she thinks that she is going to get to do the "dirty bird waltz" and start a family she can think again.
I wonder if they make oral contraceptives for birds....LOL.

Hard to say. I had a cocketiel once and he was allowed to roam the house but he flew and bumped his head one day. That was it. He died.

Cloud used to do the same thing UNTIL she decided to " inspect" the refrigerator whilst the door was open.
Luckily I spotted her BEFORE I closed the door or else she been converted from a "misty rain Cloud" to a " Cloud" of Ice and snow.

I had 11 finches I was rehabbing. Put them in the cage outside to get to know the wild finches and form bonds so I could do a soft release for them.
Have so many finches on the outside of the cage it is not funny.
Open the cage door one morning.
Came home that night to 23 finches sleeping in the cage.
Not even sure if any of them were my 11.

Oh, let her have some fun, surely she is entitled to it.

Perhaps BUT she MUST agree to clean up after her off-spring though....LOL.

I Tawt I Taw a Puddy Tat

Doubt it for 3 reasons mainly,

  1. Tweety was a Canary not an Australian Budgie,
  2. the Cat traps from the R.P.S.C.A. seem to have done the trick, not a sign of a cat now since last Friday. and,
  3. someone should have told the American Cartoonists that Canaries do NOT learn to talk.

@Triphid Cartoon Canaries do talk. Just like the cats, mice, dogs, ducks, and let's not forget Bugs Bunny. lol

@Triphid Have you not seen who framed Roger Rabbit? 😉

@LenHazell53 Psst, do NOT tell anyone but we 'colonials,' as those up themselves Pommies choose to call us, have television, electricity, movies, both in cinemas on on dvds, schools, books libraries, etc, etc, and surprise surprise we have Gun and Firearm Laws to TRY to prevent that senseless ansd useless carnage that the Unite States of Absurdity is so world famous for.
