Good read on password spraying-

Spike, maybe we need a tech group, because most people are probably aren't really interested in most of this stuff.
@SilverDollarJedi @jperlow I agree with both of you, it seems tech and cyber security related issues are not paid much attention on the public threads here, so a group on the topic is the way to go. I did a few posts now on related topics and have received very little feedback, not alot of concerned people on here, but am glad to know you two care about said topics. Being that everyone on this site uses either a computer or mobile device and thus could always fall prey to cyber crimes, you would think more people would be concerned.
@SilverDollarJedi A solid observation there, and I couldn't agree more. The bad part about trusting the "experts" is, that when it comes to cyber security related issues the scene is constantly changing, new malwares and ransomwares are being created constantly and the experts sometimes have difficulty in keeping up with it and coming up with counter measures, which is why I would not be inclined to solely trust the experts. The white hat hackers and the other good guys trying to track and counter the malicious hackers are technically on the losing end of the battle, as new forms of malware are released they are hard pressed to come up with solutions in a timely matter. Thus, we need more people to get interested in the many fields of cyber security.
@SpikeTalon let’s do a group. And we can surface the stuff to the main river that is more mainstream. This particular post is security heavy, and Redmomdmag is very targeted towards a pro IT audience. I have colleagues that write for it, I write for ZDNet, I’m former Microsoft and IBM
@jperlow @SilverDollarJedi I did what I had thought about doing for the last week or so now and since it was mentioned on this thread, I started a group called Cyber Security & Information Technology, aimed at covering the topics cyber security/tech related news/blockchain+cryptocurrencies/mobile device security. I have both of you listed as group moderators (being that both of you liked the idea of such a group), but if you wish to be removed from that list just let me know.
@SpikeTalon i might have to look at that. IM getting my Associates degree in Cybersecurity this May. Going back in the Fall for a NeTwork Administration degree next may.
@Parzival Sounds good, and please feel free to share any knowledge you may have on the topic.
@SpikeTalon i will have to do that. Send me a link when you get the page up!
