Though I utterly despise Trump I think Chomsky is giving Trump a bit too much credit. I don't believe Trump will have any chance of being re-elected in 2024. Too many people have seen how poisonous and corrupt he is and will not vote for him. He barely won in 2016 and only won because the rules are stacked in favor of Republicans. A whole lot would have to go wrong over the next 2 years for Trump to have a chance to win.
