I appreciated the replies to my post concerning the promotion of my blog site to
fellow members. With a couple of exceptions, it didn’t seem to bother most respondents.

I now understand, however, that my invitation could have been delayed until I could have
built up more trust that my intention wasn’t self- serving. That was a mistake on my part.
For those who do venture to my weekly blog, I hope clicking on “about” will make it clear my justification for establishing it.

I hope it will eventually become crystal clear I haven’t personally benefitted in any way.
My sole motive being to provide an additional source of agnostic and liberal themed
topics I felt may be of interest to fellow members at agnostic.com.

Glad to be a member,

Went to your site. I generally have a problem reading anything I can't respond to if the content wasn't written by an expert. I had a few things to say about your take, but apparently that's a discussion-free zone.

You seem to seek approval for your opinion that you may believe is something unique? Self importance is a form of arrogance that is a reward as valuable as money... you may not receive monetary compensation, but you do seek approval like a child. The reality is your opinion may me interesting, but not new and it really doesn't matter...

I think many of my opinions are unique and different than others. At least, I make an effort to write them that way on my blog site. If by approval, you mean it makes me happy when people express their appreciation for my efforts, that's a fair observation to make, but not like a child. Like the 78-year-old duffer I've slowly morphed into. You are a bit frosty, but I respect your opinion. By the way, I do think it matters.

Do you really need to be such an ass to another member who wants to do something like this? How is he hurting you by having a blog?

@misstuffy - to say he gets no reward sounds disingenuous and pompous in my opinion - that's all. You choose to interpret it as disrespect.

@FrostyJim I will re read it, but it sure came off as disrespectful to me.

@raymondahult I am glad you posted the link. I plan to check it out and support your willingness to promote non religiousness.
