Tragedy struck at the Royal Military College of Canada yesterday when 4 of the final year cadets lost control of the vehicle they were driving on the campus and plunged over the rocks and into the cold waters of Lake Ontario, none of them survived. I know a lot of these fine young men and women as they often rent ebikes from our shop which is located right across the street from the entrance to the campus and it breaks my heart to know that we lost 4 bright officers who were due to graduate next month.
The CBC asked me for comment and I gave a short comment indicating how I was feeling, very sad to have this happen and so close to home.
