"Kemp’s “waiver” plan, approved by former President Donald Trump in 2020 before he left office, would redirect shoppers from plans on healthcare.gov to individual companies or private brokers, the AJC reports."

Can't people already go to insurance company websites and insurance brokers on their own? Why eliminate the option of healthcare.gov? Oh... probably because the ACA was a bill passed by a Democrat president.
If a Democrat president passed a bill that stopped puppies from being fed to alligators for sport I'm sure Republicans would do their very best to try and stop it or overturn it just out of spite.
