ROBERT MUELLER: UNMASKED

by Congressman Louie Gohmert

"Robert Mueller has a long and sordid history of illicitly targeting innocent people that is a stain upon the legacy of American jurisprudence. He lacks the judgment and credibility to lead the prosecution of anyone."

"Special counsel Robert Mueller’s team has either indicted or gotten guilty pleas from 19 people and three companies so far — with most of those being announced just in the past few weeks.

That group is composed of four former Trump advisers, 13 Russian nationals, three Russian companies, one California man, and one London-based lawyer. Five of these people have already pleaded guilty — the latest being former Trump campaign staffer Rick Gates, who signed a plea deal and committed to cooperate with Mueller’s investigation Friday." Innocent people? What a joke!

I didn't trust Comey but Mueller's reputation is untarnished. Anyone who cares deeply about our freedoms had better hope that Mueller continues his work unimpeded.

Mueller is tarnished by the Whitey Bulger matter if nothing else. I'd like to hear his own explanation.

Louie Gohmert was all I needed to read to know it wasn't worth reading.

So I take it you didn''t read the contents but replied anyway.

@doug6352 Nothing gets by you Doug. LOL

@doug6352 So Doug in fact I did read the entire report by Louie Gohmert. First I must say it is a partisan attack on Robert Mueller. He builds his case within the first three paragraphs claiming Mueller is attempting to, "Railroad" Trump using manufactured evidence and baseless allegations. How does Louie Gohmert know this to be fact? Being a lawyer and former judge I think Mr. Gohmert should wait until, "all" the facts of this case are presented to a jury. Then and only then will we the people be able to make a rational decision on the issues he raises.
The report in total is the exact same M.O. that he claims Mueller is using on Trump. What is worse is the fact that his inaction in the past to stop such alleged abuses are excusable apparently because they were not connected to Trump, his campaign or other Republicans.
What I find most appalling is his use of the term Deep State but fails to identify any of them. I also like the fact he only uses other sources to craft this report to suit his own needs such as his reference to the L.A. Times reporter. That begs the question on how impartial this man is. It also makes me think he has lost sight if he had any to begin with on being a fair and impartial jurist.
I guess Mr. Gohmert did not have too many problems when Mueller was Bush's FBI Director because he claims he gave him a pass. My question is why did Gohmert give him a pass in the first place if he suspected Mueller was a bad actor? My guess is because he was doing what Gohmert and Bush wanted.
Mr. Gohmert also peddles in the same type of anonymous sources we are expected to just except because he casually labels them FBI official's using the same type of leak information to construct his conspiracy theory.
Before reading this report knowing Mr. Gohmert had been a judge I expected a fair and balanced report with counter points from opposing viewpoints. What we get as a reader is a partisan hack job concocted to support and protect a fellow Republican, namely Trump.
