Lucky you. I signed up for mine on June 8th. Our numbers are skyrocketing and I blame the influx of tourists.

@Gwendolyn2018 Lucky you. Ours is a major tourist destination (seems I have always lived in such places and am getting tired of it. A long pandemic with a lock down has created the perfect storm. Mine has been Moderna and, aside from a somewhat sore arm for a day, there have been few downsides.

@Gwendolyn2018 Good thing you have us to 'mingle' with. I wonder how many misanthropes agnostic.com has created.

@Gwendolyn2018 Just think how living on an island would make it even stronger.

@Gwendolyn2018 Does it have a moat with alligators? Actually there are some who gravitate toward islands to hid out i the woods. It is asked which part of this island does one live, north or south (this island is a vertically long island)? The village and community center is in the north end and the south end is where most of the hideaways live.

Curious what brand you got? Mine have all been Moderna, and had some soreness, but I'm thinking of switching to Pfizer for my next booster, whenever that might be, as I've heard less soreness. I've also heard it's good to shake it up and switch brands for better effectiveness.

I want to be protected to the max, so I don't mind a little hurt, for the peace of mind my chances of getting severely ill will be minimized. Just curious if some of the brands effect folks differently. I think they are close to the same effectiveness.

@Gwendolyn2018 Hmm.. good to know. I've had slight soreness, and a general malaise with my mine, but perhaps there is no rhyme or reason why some are affected and others are not.

I'm also curious if the body's reaction might be different in those who had fought off the virus previously, known or unknown to them. Oh well, the mystery continues!

Glad you didn't have much in the way of ill effects and are now better protected! 🙂 I think it's important for the vax-hesitant folks to know that not everyone has soreness, etc. Thanks for posting!

When did you get your first booster? I think I got mine in February. Probably too early yet. I'll give it to end of summer.

It's almost time for me to get boosted again. Thanks for the reminder.

No problem when I got mine as well.
Good for you.

I got my 2nd booster in March and I might get my third booster soon - before airline travel in mid June... no side affects at all.

Third???
