Hey don't knock it, ALL my small change, from 5 cents pieces right through to the odd 1 and 2 dollar coins go in to large jar for Henry which he has to count off and tally up every time the jar is full,
I started that 2 days after he was born and so far, in just over 8 years, he has banked over $780 and has a full jar sitting here ready for the sorting, counting and banking already as well.

I would say Henry deserves that ten spot, and with inflation, probably more! Id give him ten and I don't even know the kid!

@misstuffy Have fears, the "Henry Money Jar" as he calls it is now also full and awaiting his arrival to count it all out and then get Mum or Dad to take to the bank and deposit it in to his account for him.

@Jolanta 8 years old, will be 9 in November but sometimes we all think that he is a young body with an old and wise head on it though.

@misstuffy Possibly true. I think my objection comes from being "raised" by someone who could be so described because of her religiosity. She had a desire to be a better, more competent person, but had no idea how to improve. She put an immense amount of "faith" into religion thinking that was the way to improve. There was an emotional/mental barrier of some kind there. I seem to have gotten past it on my own, but there was no explaining it to her. Eventually, I saw her as a "sad" person, always wanting to be better, but having no idea how to get there. ..... Godswill and all that, I guess.

My opinion is that working in those types of jobs is a privilege, not a right and that the outcome should be loss of employment. She’s a substitute, so clearly knows better.

The question mark signified that I wasn’t sure of Henry’s whereabouts from the information provided in the post. People make phone calls all over the world these days. I could have assumed (possibly incorrectly) that he was living in Oz.

Therefore my question was reasonable, given the lack of detail re Henry’s location in your post.
