This week it was children. Last week it was older Black shoppers. What is more consistent is that the murders are done with powerful, high-capacity military-style rifles, by young adolescent males.

We have similar scandals in the UK. For example...

Tuam babies scandal

The Tuam home was run by a order of Catholic nuns, the Sisters of Bon Secours. It housed unmarried mothers and their children from the mid-1920s until it finally closed its doors in 1961.

But controversy over the fate of the hundreds of children who died while resident in the home made international headlines in 2014, when it became known as the Tuam babies scandal.

And this also happened in Australia.

The Stolen Generations refers to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children who were removed from their families between 1910 and 1970. This was done by Australian federal and state government agencies and church missions, through a policy of assimilation.

Under this policy, the forcible removal of First Nations children was made legal. Assimilation was based on a belief of white superiority and black inferiority, and presumed that "full-blood" Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples would naturally die out. It proposed that children with Aboriginal and white parentage, who were termed "half-caste" (now considered an extremely derogatory term), should be assimilated into white society. It was believed these children would be more easily assimilated due to their lighter skin.

Australia and Canada were doing much the same thing at that time period. Though according to the article, it started in the US and was picked up by the other countries. Just another form of slavery hidden as “education.”

"slavery hidden as education" - I can go with that. 😟

Atrocities against children has a long history not just in the USA. The PRC has a dearth of women due to the 1 child policy. Female children were abandoned & left to die along road sides and in market places. To address the issue of infanticide of GIRLS, China lifted its ban on adoptions. A large market in selling girls resulted. Native American children were forced to adopt Euro culture. Many perished instead. Australia paid bounties for the murder of Aboriginal peoples. We humans are a violent species. Especially the males. This phenomenon is not unique to the USA although our easy access to guns permits this to continue. And now it appears that forced term pregnancy is on the horizon. Brutalizing children will become more common as we do not care for them as socialism has become a tainted concept here. Very sad indeed.
