This is probably a long shot but here goes:

I flew Navy EC121K radar platforms and SP2H submarine hunter-killers in the early sixties. I would like to discuss the technical aspects of the R3350 engines that powered both birds. Especially the interplay between Shaft RPM. Supercharger boost, Propeller pitch, and BMEP. The EC121K motors were also equipped with power recovery turbines.

If there are any old-time radial engine flight engineers on here here I would like to discuss these old engines.

They kept me off the ground for thousands of hours yet I still have questions about them,

I love those old twin-row radial engines, they were awesome. I spent 4 years in the Navy, ADJ... Mostly on jets, A-3s, and A-6s, but a year in V.N. 67-68 at a small N.A.F. They had P-2 Neptunes there. I mostly worked on the J-34 booster jets on them but helped with some engine changes with the 3350s. I can't give much tech. info on them but it was a great experience to have worked around them. I also had my A&P license and worked for an air freight carrier for a couple of years on Convair 340s. They had R-2800 engines.
