Thank you to the teachers who educate our children!!! Sadly the radical gun zombies now expect you to arm yourself to defend our kids from their own constituents. So in addition to spending your own money on school supplies, now you will also need to allocate some of your private money for guns, ammunition, body armor, and urban assault training. 😢

In addition you must tolerate kids like Calvin and myself. Thanks again for your patience and commitment!

After having considerable time to ponder the debate over arming public school teachers, I am happy to say that I disagree with such a notion, for obvious reasons (or what should be obvious anyways).

I've been removed from the public school system now for a few decades, and even back then I had a number of teachers who were jackasses and morons. That said, I dare not fathom how many rotten teachers there are out there nowadays, and I'm sure things have only gotten worse since my school days. When we're possibly (I use the word possibly there sparingly) dealing with supposedly highly educated adults who for reasons largely unknown cannot readily differentiate between the two sexes, can't say I'm comfortable in arming such individuals. Also, just exactly how much money would such an endeavor cost the taxpayers, as if we don't pay enough already. So no thanks to arming school teachers.

By the way, body armor could be a worthwhile investment for anyone across the board. Life at times can be strange and unpredictable, never know what you might come up against. A multitude of potential hazards out there @Garban... from disgruntled BLM activists chucking molotov cocktails and rocks to tinfoil hat-wearing MAGA types who would want to slug you one with an American Flag flagpole for criticizing the fake tan man, to starving werewolves who will ambush you and tear you to shreds in nine seconds flat, to some crazed homeless hobo who has a bad habit of biting others totally unprovoked. Yup indeed, no shortage of threats to your existence out there.

One more thing... no real need to thank the teachers for their "patience and commitment", as most of them these days are under strict union protection, and they enjoy various perks from simple pats on the back from total strangers simply because of their profession to getting over two months off in a row besides all the holidays, in addition to their paychecks. I'm sure the money alot of them make feels good, so I'd reckon under such circumstances it wouldn't be too difficult for them to find some patience and stay committed to their work, as it's the least they could do. And even as pro gun rights as I can be, I would never force any of them to carry a gun to their place of employment, which is an added bonus for them! And everyone's satisfied in the end (I think).

@Garban Had no idea how old this post was, or any of them for that matter. On the home page in the search box I type various keywords, and certain posts show up. For instance, when I had typed the word Ukraine, alot of posts from you had shown up. Same with certain words associated with the gun control debate etc. Sorry if that appeared creepy, but it is Halloween season though. Also the links at the bottom of mosts public posts, some of them could be links to really older posts, and I click on them sometimes (sometimes by accident).

That aside, nothing to say specifically about my comment? That's fine if you don't, and if you didn't want to reply directly to certain comments for fear if any of the in crowd members see them you could do so elsewhere. I think you'd be shocked at what some of those on here had said to me who claim to be in favor of strict gun control measures, they say one thing in public and something else completely different in private. Funny how that works, but I guess that's social media for you. There was another of your posts, not sure how old it was, had wanted to comment on but cannot find it now. I'll come across it eventually though.

Kevlar vests, yes but no guns please.

Give Bruce Lee courses to all teachers. Issue Kevlar vests and steel helmets to all the kids. The armed security guard should carry fully automatic weapons and hand grenades. Drones should patrol the school yards. Barbed wire should be surrounding the whole school. Stalag 17.

You could also have drones patrol the hallways. Just sayin'.
