Liberals in the USA complain that the Supreme Court is currently ruling against the majority of the population. That's true. But that was also true of some liberal decisions in the past: When Roe v. Wade was decided in 1973, there was no majority among the population for it either. It was the same with the approval of same-sex marriage in 2013.
The bottom line is that neither tribe cares about the majority when their ideology is at stake.

You also seem to think it's OK for the majority to vote to strip a minority of their civil rights. Interesting religion.

False equivalency. Liberals respect elections when the vote goes against them, conservatives don't.

You forgot the ruling in Brown v. Board of Education.

The key element here is that liberal justices vote in favor of having more freedoms and in line with the separation of powers, not based on religious ideology or so-called "originalist" thought (which has been shown to be just an excuse for conservative rulings and an ideology in itself).
