I really don't like Organic.
It is making the world worse while not helping people.
Organic can still use Pesticides, just organic ones.
Meaning pesticides come from natural sources and are not tailored towards bugs, and more of it has to be used to be affective.
Also, organic fertilizer is retrieved from animal waste.
Well, more animal farms.
Any substance that kills, prevents, repels, or mitigates a pest is a pesticide. Look up FIFRA- Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide ACT.
No, a flyswatter is not a pesticide.
also Organic tolerates Copper sulfate as a pesticide that is more toxic than glycophosphates

I agree. I feel like it's one of those ideas that looked good on paper, but that has really gotten out of control.
I have been in the food indystry for 35 years. I have been making a detailed study of how people eat based on economic stratification for the past 20. Organic in the supermarket sense means you as a consumer are paying 140% to 200% more for the exact same food produced in the same facilities.
Go to the market and compare a parent companies regular product and organic line and see it. There is no difference. There is no practical cooking difference.
My apologies for sounding like some tedious know it all.
