A good guy with a gun AND a heroic pizza delivery man. Indiana is the least depressing state in America this week. 
This fire was literally just down the street from me. I noticed the remains of the house yesterday but had no idea a real life hero was within mere blocks from me until I saw this earlier. Heroes greatly appreciated.

It was not all sunshine and roses in Hoosierville. Really sad around here

It's a mix of emotions on my part, for sure.
My son Joseph stayed at the house after the ambulance took Wyatt away and cleaned up the blood. He never saw the boys damaged body. Fortunately.
Are there "Heroes" anymore? Or just people that stand up and do what it takes to end or get us through another stupid event?
Damage seems to be a rotating 180 degrees with winners and losers switching places daily.
A local was crowing on FB about the value of 2A stopping that killer. Hundreds die innocently. Makes sense to the gun culture when suddenly one lunatic with a gun can only kill 3, not 13 or 20.
@SeaGreenEyez It seems as this never ending cycle continues. we are gonna each one of us find ourself in a chaotic, dangerous situation. One where the shooter will not have his back to the wall.
@SeaGreenEyez I went to the wake yesterday. Met Mom & Dad.
Dad....about twice my size, half my age and former football player.
Seems to me that he should be able to handle himself through almost any altercation.
Our small, lily white town has not seen any riots or random street shootings.
It is disappointing that so many people, especially young people now, live in such FEAR. And I put the blame squarely on organized religion and its propaganda, lust for power & government control.
Wyatt's blood is on their hands as well
