Climate Change Pro and Cons have not accepted or explained our biggest green house gas Methane and how it will make CO2 seem irreverent!

Methane is even a bigger worry!

One: By human eating more meat and dairy products grazing animals which contribute up two to five kg of methane per day or more per animal!

Two: The methane sequestered in the permafrost which has been melting at an overt exponential rate!

Three: Rising ocean temperatures allowing methane that has been sequestered in nodules by cold temperatures are staring to float similar to the methane sequestered in the permafrost!

Four: Fracking at over five million or more drilled wells on this planet. Fracking re;ease Methane on a continual basis!
The average uncapped well releases 5% of it pumped contents which contain Methane and other proportionate amounts of green house gasses ! The only one of these that can be reversed is the partial eliminate of grazing animals used for meat and dairy production!

This is no win situation!

Adapting will not resolve or solve this out of control Gigantic Dilemma set upon us by us

other human activity creating methane: Rice growing, landfills, wastewater treatment plant.

Also the atmospheric methane spike is very sharp from ice core samples.

Thank you for posting!!

Permafrost is the elephant in the room I believe. If you look closely at some of the previous extinction events you will see that there were methane and co2 shocks, sudden releases eg from under the ocean that suddenly caused the gas levels in the air to soar.

Dinosaurs were farting way more gas than humans lol. Cows still do?. Every marsh or swamp releases methane to atmosphere all the times as it rots. So there are natural balance of methane in atmosphere, started long before humans. Did we change it a bit? Yes. Drasticly? Doubt it. It is fancy to OR on This, that's all. Remember all the crying about Ozol whole in late 80s early 90s? We were all suppose to die by now lol. And? No more such a problem?. Still alive!!!!
To me human it all just another religion, like communism lol.

Ozol? are you referring to ozone?

First dinosaurs did not drill for fossil fuels or release Methane from underground!

Ozone was at a point of no return!

So the different governments and corporations banned Flora Carbons use in hair spray, bug, bombs, and most if not all aerosol products that contained Flora Carbons! That ban is now over twenty five years old the Ozone has not entirely recovered! It is now some where between 85% and 95% compared to 65% before the ban!
If you would do a little research you could write from knowledge instead of doltishness!

@Glenndonn Like I replied to my friend below, it seems that dinosaurs were probably not ruminants and could not have <farted> their way to high methane levels.

Overpopulation is by far the biggest problem and the cause of all the others.
