I'm watching an interview with Val Demings who is running against Marco Rubio in Florida. Rubio said he'd veto hurricane recovery aid if it had pork in it. Similarly, Ron DeSantis voted against recovery aid after Hurricane Sandy.
Pundits project that gerrymandering will give the House to the Republicans. When the next hurricane hits Florida, will the GQP block funding to Floridians?
