How about parents just grow a spine and talk to their kids about sex?

Maybe I'm just more open that others perhaps but sex isn't hard to talk about........

I gave my seven-year-old daughter an age-appropriate talk which evidently made her the most popular kid at school the next day and had several parents outraged. Our next mother-daughter talk was about not everyone having the same stage of age appropriateness.
I also recall being reprimanded at work by a coworker for using the word menopausal in mixed company. Who knew?

@Angelface
I know a girl that will legit whisper really low any time she says the word "sex" much less anything else

Can't imagine getting much more vanilla lol

That coworker even took me aside to tell me I shouldn't use those type of words at work in mixed company. I think my intelligent reply was Huh?

Every parent should decide how to use this book to teach their kids.

Poor place to be learning about sex.

My mother bought me books because she couldn't force herself through a talk without stammering and blushing which would have made it worse. While this book is too graphic for me, I see straight speak as healthy.

@Angelface I just do not by twitter as the place to learn about sex.

@Marine I don't see Twitter as anything more than any other social media site. I wish I had learned about sex from a lowkey factual discussion with a person I trusted instead of through movies and boyfriends. That is what I wanted for my daughter.
