Who says Rock 'N Roll can't save people? This is now my favorite quote:

"The world only looks like it does because we keep it that way."

Yes…Morten has come out with some great quotes over the years. He and Magne are caring humans, interested in environmental and humanitarian issues …their new album True North is described as a letter to the world from the Arctic north of their country, highlighting the connection we have to the sea, the environment, and the damage we are doing to them if we don’t change our behaviour.

@Marionville I'll try to give it a listen.

@rainmanjr There’s a film released with the album…I’ve streamed it from Apple…it explains more about it…the scenery is stunning, Of course the music is great…it always is!

It is also interesting to learn that Norway, is investing much of its oil revenue in a "pension fund" for the whole country, for when the oil runs out or is switched off.

Yes…I knew about that it’s called Norway’s Sovereign Wealth Fund. It’s what the SNP wanted to do with the oil revenues if they had gained Scottish independence. They have always said that the U.K. government just squandered our oil money with no long term plan to use it to insulate us from when oil runs out…and boy were they right! Norway is now the richest country in the world per capita..they had the foresight to invest for the benefit of all citizens now and for future generations.

Btw…there is a programme being shown on Disclosure tonight on BBC Scotland…re this a-ha story and the electric revolution in Norway. It s at 8 pm…or on iPlayer.
