How many American's here were aware that THIS HAPPENED in September of this year

"Over two weeks ago, a delegation from Ukraine of the neo-Nazi Azov movement arrived in the United States...Azov’s recent outreach in the country, including efforts to reverse Congress’ ban on the U.S. supplying arms and training to the Azov Regiment.
...the delegation had more on its political agenda than detailing Russian war crimes, criticizing the International Red Cross, and securing the release of Azov POWs. He predicted that this year (the US) Congress will lift its ban on the U.S. supplying arms and training to the Azov Regiment."

The State Department labeled the Azov Regiment a “Foreign Terrorist Organization” in 2020 in a bill which is supposed to stay in effect until 2025, but is now being promised to be revoked in a matter of weeks.

Are we to take this as the changing position of the US when it comes to openly Nazi organisations, and "regiments"?

The author you cite, Moss Robson, is an agent of OUN-B, a "Ukrainian Ultranationalist Organization", according to Google.

I sighted a source one of many all reporting the same thing.
If you look at the article there are pictures of the Azov brigade in Washington being treated as VIPs by congress members and the Senate, the ban on the US supplying weapons to the AZOV brigade IS being lifted three years early and weapon supply is illegally happening anyway as part of the USA's cash dump in to Ukraine (as well as the one coming from the UK) The Azov "delegates were allowed to hold "charity auctions of their NAZI paraphernalia, and the official visit was allowed to go ahead without complaint while AZOV strictly speaking is STILL classed as a "Terrorist" organisation in the US.
I think who wrote the article is not important when the US government is evidentially openly colluding with an ultra right wing neo-Nazi organisation and treating them as heroes.
Personally I would be very worried.

Also there is precedent for the USA collaborating with Nazis when it was to their own benefit look up operation paperclip [en.wikipedia.org]

You are mistaken, I spent an hour researching this guy and he is a freelance Ukrainian journalist who writes and reports on "Stepan Bandera's internationally active Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN-B)" quote. Warning against them and their sub organisations, corrupting influence on youth and dangerously pro right wing extremism. He is certainly not a member or an agent
It was he who broke the story of the Azov visit to the USA. Only ONE MSM outlets reported on the visit and that was the Trumpist station NEWSMAX, who interviewed two members of the delagation Yulia Fedosiuk, Kateryna Prokopenko two active Azov members on air about the Russian detention of their husbands, both Azov fighters as POWs. [newsmax.com]
All the network news outlet studiously ignored the visit, failing to either condone or condemn it.
