Not all but some. Thats like saying "are all men assholes?" Some are and some aren't. Are people not meant to be monogamous and cheat? Some are, some aren't. I think a lot of it is because of upbringing, but if they had a good upbringing and are still fucked up, then they're sociopaths. lol

In my experience, usually not. The problem I run into most often these days with online dating, that is related somewhat to this, is that most women who are college-educated and white collar professionals themselves, will not date a man who is not also a so-called "successful professional" man, not so much because he may not have a high income or be financially secure and comfortable, but because he does not have enough of a high status career to brag about or show off to her friends and family, so the woman won't date a man like that because it would be embarrassing to her, even if he is just as intelligent and educated as her, and has the same money available as her for travel, entertainment, dining out, etc. It's all about status and social class.

No. But they do want to know (1) if they are in child-bearing years, that men are financially able to contribute to the upbringing of their offspring, and (2) if they are in retirement years, that men will not be a financial burden. The old ladies around here often remark about men who are “looking for a nurse or a purse…or a nurse with a purse”.

Well you make a point
