I don't think it's the values that Democrats hold that's the problem. Democrats want things that would be good for Republicans collectively: clean water, clean air, affordable housing, affordable healthcare, affordable education, but Republicans are stupid, and stupid people are easy to trick into voting against their own best interests. They take a few issues and blow them out of proportion and get people to act on those alone. Mix in some misogyny, racism, and voter suppression, and you have a party that can compete with a party that has platform ideas with overwhelming support. I mean, we're talking about a party with people so fuckin' stupid, they wear shirts that read "I'd rather be a Russian than a Democrat" which would be relinquishing the one thing those cretins can't ever seem to shut the fuck up about, even though they apparently don't know what it is: freedom. But as long as they can have their guns (which are statistically more likely to harm their own) and keep taxes low on rich people (because apparently all those morons think they're going to be rich soon) then that's the party for them regardless of any of the other bad shit.

I don't know what drives people like Barr. I just don't get it. On the other hand people miss the fact that Trump ran as a Republican because Hilary was running as a Democrat. Let that sink in a moment. Also note that it takes both parties to give us the candidates.

Hopefully he drops dead from all that weight before 2024.
