I have seen a few post on here about when ya'll walked away from religion. Well here is a poem I wrote 23 years ago, when i walked away.

Liberation of a Box Friend

In a dark decrepit box, I sit
Waiting for the sun to shine
Warm light peered through three tiny crack's
Can't move, I'm chained
An ancient olive dragon
Broke my 18 year bonds
Lifted my weak body
To her strong scaled back
She spread feathered wings
Sprung through the top of my old cage
She set me soft on cross roads to bright beautiful boxes.
