Many things, alas - coffee, margaritas, foundation, foundations(undies, etc), bread, music, movies, men. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Iโ€™m snobby about womenโ€™s undies too ?

Yes . I am I won't go to wal mart. I won't even drive through the parking lot.

On the few occasions that I am forced to go in there, I find myself scanning for "People of Walmart" people. FWIW, I know this makes me a horrible judgemental person.

Same, except for maybe the parking lot part. I'll cut thru anything if Im forced to... LOL

Music

Coffee

I am particular rather than snobby. I don't drink sweet wine. I don't drink bad coffee or good coffee if it is in a paper cup. I also don't like ratty looking clothes if someone is wearing them to look hip.

I didn't like acid wash jeans in the '80s nor jeans-with-holes in the 2000s.

I am with coffee

Not me, I grind the beans before each pot. Always pick quality beans. The kind of pot and grinder used affects the quality.

I am not sure re snob,
I don't drink often or much, when i do, say 3 times a year, maybe not at all for many years. I only drink a couple of brands of scotch.
I am called an intellectual snob, but the truth is, I know nothing about the topics people wish to discuss, any sport or celebrity information means nothing to me and I have nothing to contribute.
I get frustrated with the lack of conversations in my life as others feel the same about my interests.

Movies definitely, candles, and laundry detergent.

@Redcupcoffee persil. The stuff is amazing.

@Redcupcoffee Kroger, and several other stores in the southeast.

Laundry detergent, yes! Purex is a curseword in my house. Persil or Tide Ultra Stain Release.

Homegrown weed.

Cigars, beer, coffee, and steaks. Iโ€™m a huge snob when it comes to these 4 things. I can tell a good cigar just from the smell the beer better taste like beer donโ€™t give me any lite shit. Cheap coffee wonโ€™t even make it past my nose. My steak needs to be thick aged cooked over hardwood flames and donโ€™t even try slip me a chunk of top round and call it a steak.

Can a person be only sort of an intellectual (as in, I only have an AA degree and haven't read most of the classics) and still be an intellectual snob? Because that's what I am.

Coffee, maybe wine to an extent. I'm not sure how you can be a movie snob. LOL! Not wealthy enough to be snobby about much else. =]

Continuity?!?!?!?!?!

^^ That's how you be a film snob. Also, call it film ๐Ÿ˜›

Yes. Food, I buy any kind of food I like, regardless of price, and I buy mostly organic, fresh food.

No, but I rarely eat dairy. I also observe Meatless Monday and only eat meat a few times a week. I think my body needs meat protein, so I eat a lot of eggs, (free range, cage free and/or organic), shellfish, and seafood. I do eat beef and pork. I don't like chicken. I would like to try harder to be Vegan, for ethical and environmental reasons but I'm still struggling. I love good food. My goal is to move toward at least being pescatarian. Although, some of the current dangers of eating fish may steer me in the right direction soon enough. Lol. I feel healthy and am at a good weight. Healthy food is everything. โ™ฅ

I wouldn't call myself a snob. I just have high standards.

3

TP, cheese, cooking in general.

3

Honestly... I am a bit of a snob, but we (you and I) being tasteful people when it comes to Scotch and โ€œtoilet tissueโ€... (not TP), we just know.

I hope you can tell me in a nice way.

Snob about:

Coffee
Craft Beer
Food
Journalism
Fishing (topwater, no plastic worm or grub)

Oh, I know but they asked about snobbery and I feel a fish caught topwater (fresh I'm talking about, not salt) is just a more elegant catch.

Definitely journalism.

3

No.
Snobbery is incredibly boring and reeks of superiority. I won't put up with that from anyone. Being picky about certain things is fine. There is a difference.

3

Beer ?

Subjects? Everyone and everything is a subject to my magnificent intellect! (except for a "great" guy called Donald, who assures us that his intellect is the best)

Yes, yes and yes. I am a cinefile and will totally judge you on your favorite movies. Good coffee is life. And toilet paper. Don't get me started on toilet paper. I have a bidet, so the paper is mostly just for drying off, but it still has to be my specific brand...

@Redcupcoffee I installed it myself. It's actually a bidet attachment for the toilet. Took 20 minutes and changed my life forever.

@Redcupcoffee Bio Bidet Simplet BB70 Fresh Water Spray Non-Electric Mechanical Bidet Toilet Seat Attachment, Metal Hose, White [amazon.com]

Not sure if snob but i'm picky about sheets. Been quite awhile since I've found good ones that aren't some depression era big 3 hues too, pastel, beige vomit colors are legion.
Nubby scratchy ones make me twitch.

Dog snob - more about where someone gets one than breed necessarily, altho I'm ruined on dobermans and am in outer space anal about their issues, keeping tabs on those who are doing right with type/health/digits. Try very hard to avoid the topic of dogs when out, because once I started, it's hard to shut up. Dobermans are the closest thing I get to religion.

I like good beer. Usually imported or from a micro brewer. Also kind of snobby on TV. Prefer PBS or premium channels.
