There is proof that childhood trauma can carry over to following generations. The study was based upon the occupation of the Nazis in the Netherlands where starvation was experienced.. Trauma can effect the genome & be passed on to further generations.

If you have had illness and death in your family maybe you will develope dire betes.

Just as food for thought: In general, people who have grown up in dysfunctional households have not had good role models for how to take care of themselves. Here in the USA, much of our groceries are so processed, we are not really sure how much of what we eat is real food.

People who have been traumatized may seek solace in the trashy foods promoted for their sugar, fat, or salt content. While the flavor provides enjoyment, it is slow poison in very many ways.

@racocn8 Yep. I always say sugar is a poison that tastes good.
