I believe that I was meant to travel. I enjoy exploring places I've never been whether here in the states or on foreign soil. I embrace diverse cultures and people. The meme says it all.

How about you? Are you an explorer?

I live only to be in a different place every day.

Cool!

Yup, I have been around near and far and wouldn't trade it for anything else

Right?

@BeeHappy ... Yup, and I am not done yet. I'll keep going places until my final trip to nowhere forever

? Will your indulgence improve climate change? Result in your fulfilment? Keep you healthy? Enable your peace? ?
I always remind people that my parents first went to an area about 50 miles in diameter on their honeymoon. 50 years later they were still going there and when we were children went there 2 Saturdays out of 3 winter or summer. Despite that there were still parts that they had never been to and events not viewed or participated in.
You will never find what you want if it is hidden inside you.

@PraiseXenu, thank you my thoughts exactly.

I am a financially deficient explorer. I will likely never make it overseas but since my daughter sells cruises for a living, I have been to the caribbean a couple of times and climbed several mayan ruins along with other places.

I found some dna cousins and will be making an 8 hour drive to spend some time with one of them next month. Ive been thinking that perhaps I may take some online friends up on their offers of a place to stay and venture even further someday.

Perfect!

Yes, I like to explore, travel.
Couple reasons why I don't though, at least not outside the US.

Too much business travel and not enough cultural travel for me I guess. So I can take it or leave it

I don't like the discomfort of travel.

The heat, disrupted sleep, crowds, running for connecting flights. If I could click my fingers and be transported to the Taj Mahal or the Grand Canyon that would be fine, it's just the in between bit I don't like.

I've done plenty of travelling in my youth. At first it's exciting, then it gets tedious. The sound of a tent zip being pulled is not music to my ears.

I always want to know what's around the next corner.

Yep, the true explorer.

I have been fascinated by fantasy books since childhood. Then three films on the Lord of the Rings were released. And I began to dream about going everywhere where this film was shot. But I haven't traveled much so far. I've been to Berlin, many American cities. That's all.

As far as I know, the real Shire city from The Lord of The Rings and The Hobbit is located in New Zealand. But many fans stopped going there because of the latest terrorist attack. I don't believe that such a case can happen again in the same place. I don't see the point in that. So I plan to visit Shire when I go to travel around Europe. I bought a Balkan insight tour ticket for my girlfriend and me. She really wants to go to the Balkans because she has watched a lot of travel bloggers' videos about many castles and villas. I’m interested in many historical monuments of those places. I'll take a Canon camera there, so you’ll see many photos.

Y'all come visit me in Hainan (Coconut Island). I got a spare room. The food here is fantastic and palm trees everywhere. Beaches. Balmy, but beautiful. 🙂

I might take you up on that one day! ?

@BeeHappy Hope you like beach, coconut and chinese noodles. All in abundance here. 🙂

@LilithGone Sounds great! ?

@BeeHappy Check out the article I posted. Hainan Province is now visa free for 59 countries. 😉

Absolutely, I'm totally an explorer too! There's something magical about discovering new places and immersing oneself in different cultures. Speaking of travel, Europe is an amazing destination, especially in June. I'm actually planning a trip across Germany this year. Found this awesome website, [dbfahrplan.com], where you can easily book train tickets. It's a game-changer, trust me! So excited to share my travel stories here. Oh, by the way, I'm new on this forum. Let's embark on unforgettable adventures together!

Oh, I understand your feelings. Anyway guys, right now I would like to talk about ETIAS, have you ever gotten it? I have already read so many different resources about that ETIAS Europe and I'm still afraid of doing something wrong so I hope that someone here will be able to help me. Thanks in advance.
