I was watching a show (an episode of a certain series).
And they started playing this song in the background. I recognized it immediately.
Though I have grown tired of the songs that get over played from this band, I suddenly remembered how much I loved some of their music, like this song.
as a teenager this song, this entire album used to take me to some mystical mental place where I could feel the power and the anguish of life and death. I could sit and observe, separate and above it all.
Got any songs that make you feel that way?

I’ve been burnt out on Zeppelin for probably 15-20 years. I’m starting to come out of that and it’s kind of nice.

...same here. As a drummer (52), we would cover some to death....like SWTH...but I am digging on them again.

Led Zeppelin, Communication Break Down from their first album. Blues that takes it to the core!

....for me? Van Halen, their first album....lost my virginity to an eight track of this album in the back seat of her mothers car....every time I hear just part of ONE trac, my mind floats back.

@RobLes Ya, hard to choose just one band/trac. I was born in 66, so the 70's (the best decade for music imo) the 80's, 90's...some great tunes for sure.

I wasn't really allowed to listen to rock 'n' roll, so I never had that experience. There was a Joni Mitchell record that I was allowed to play and that sometimes took me out of myself.

This is the World Calling from Bob Geldof always calms and settles me.

Desperado and Dream a Little Dream always are bittersweet for me, as my late husband loved when I sang them but I love them wholly.

Barry White, come to me baby.
