Stop this insane travesty against the people of this country!

House Speaker Paul Ryan plans on holding a vote tomorrow to kick 2 million hungry children, veterans and people with disabilities off of food stamps. Call your Representative right now and demand that they vote NO on the farm bill, which would cut $20 billion from SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program): 888-668-8919

In a House vote this week, Paul Ryan and Congressional Republicans are attempting to take food away from 2 million hungry children, veterans and people with disabilities after giving a $2 trillion tax cut last year that mostly benefits the rich and corporations.

SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), or food stamps, assures adequate nutrition to 40 million people (about 1 in 8 Americans) each year―including 20 million children. Republicans are trying to ram through a $20 billion cut to the program in a floor vote this Thursday.

This action is outrageous―and immoral―and it must be stopped. But that can only happen if you rise up and help us defeat it.
