Folks that don't write a bio, and haven't answered any questions yet have joined months (or more) ago.

What up with that?

Reverse image searches don't pop up as obvious catfishes, unless the robot overlords are getting smarter... grabs tinfoil hat

Loving the replies, everyone. Good points indeed, and though I didn't really factor in shyness or even over thought on what to actually write; I mostly meant this as a lite jest at those who haven't yet done so. I find writing about myself to be a huge pain in the arse too, so I just went with whatever came to mind. I can always change it later, and heck I ought to update it now.

Cheers, everyone!

To be honest, I just keep forgetting to come here lol. Sometimes I get wrapped up in reading an article onine, then there is a link to another & another &........I shall make more of an effort to get here & participate....thanks for the 'reminder'!

Might have started an account and immediately gave up...

If I see a new member missing a bio or profile questions, I usually try to encourage them in that direction.

I don't want to read posts from people without bios...seems fishy to me.

When I greet people, I encourage them to fill in their profile and bio, so that other members can get a "feel" for them.

I just assumed we must have bored them.

I joined a few days ago. Writing a bio doesn't come easy for me. I'll get something up sooner or later. Maybe I should ask a friend to write down his perception of me to get it started. What could go wrong there?

I took forever to get started because I'm rather shy

Same.

..still haven't started... took me forever to do it on match...i can't figure out if it should be like a dating site or just a little about me.

@SeeCanU I went with bare bones facts. Nothing here is written in stone, so you can always change it.

Yeah, I'm open to ideas on how to get people to come back more after their 1st visit (about 50% of registrations don't come back).

Offer free candy once someone reaches level 5.

@SpikeTalon Free eye-candy?

automatically send a new registration a message to say they are welcome to a limited browse of the site, and that you hope they will find it to be more than just a dating site or site devoted to knocking religion. Then add "If you decide it is not for you, please do not reply to this message, and we will remove your profile and log-in details. However, if you do feel you will enjoy this site, please reply to this message within one week, to avoid being erased."

@Petter This site is full of free brain-candy.

@pixiedust I know. I'm gorging on it. burp!! 😉

Not to worry ....

Have they made comments and/or posts? If not, perhaps @admin could "hibernate" them

Lost interest? Died? Found Jesus?

Signed up, looked around at singles in their area, didn't like what they saw, gave up. Happens in low population areas. I've done it, in the past. Where I live, it only takes me one look-through see them all--and that none appeal.

I haven't... i still can't decide what i want to put there
