Thought you guys would appreciate this..

A nod to the strictly self-soothing result of thoughts and prayers.

Lol

A while back my very religious sister posted on FB that she had a terrible migraine and wished that she had some codeine or vicodin. Her post got a dozen or so responses, most of which said "sending prayers" or similar.

I stayed out of it but I did laugh and say to myself, "I'm pretty sure she'd rather have the drugs!"

Ok this reminds me of the repulsivi-cans and theyre ever present press release when there's a mass shooting among civilians , , they do nothing but pay lip service

I prefer to meditate, not prayer, sort of a self hypnosis to slow my body and mind. So that i can relax and focus clearly. I don t believe I need medication, or a faith.

As you say, “self soothing”... a wasted breath, especially when offered by unknown entity’s, often by politicians, as they think it’s expected by their constituency.

Think the guy on fire is praying for the guys garden. As it is clearly the most important thing going on here. The amount of weeds in that lawn is clearly the work of the devil.
