Very few answers have noted that this is in "silly, random and fun"
ie. "meat" and "meet".

@WillP2020 "Meet" means suitable, but it sounds like "meat", the forbidden food for vegetarians. 😉

@MARDUK ?

@MARDUK That is not funny, as in fun. Your post is about funny as in broken or abmormal. I refer to the former.

Perhaps...

Processed foods are not prominent in my diet. Had not heard of Quorn before. [en.wikipedia.org].

Meat substitute, hence the tonque-in-cheek question.

@WillP2020 It is easy to get enough protein for an average adult from eating only potatoes, according to my Md. I think that is controversial, however. Excess protein turns into sugar or fat in ones body.

@WillP2020 I'm vegan most of the time. Occasionally I fall off the wagon. Potatoes don't have many calories, it's things like butter and bacon bits used for flavor enhancers that pile on the calories. A large potato has about 300 calories.

I have Quorn all the time. It's nice.

@WillP2020

It's made of what Palacinky says (comment below mine).

Covers eyes and hides behind the sofa.

It's a meat substitute. I'm not a vegetarian but I am looking into considering a wholefood diet. And slowly phasing out meat and all processed foods.

I don't look for processed foods, I try to eat as close to food in it's natural state. I've never tried Quorn, don't expect to anytime soon.
