Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I'm always amazed at how some people can draw faces and hair so well. If I'm not mistaken, they're the hardest objects to draw because they have such detail.

Thanks everyone, First of all I can say I always think my work sucks. Its frustrating, and a constant struggle to get better. Well I chose this one because it was black and white but its from a photo over 100 years old, so detail is nothing compared to my pencil portraits but I'm also not really trying to acheive that level of realism in my paintings, we do have cameras now.
