I want to mention some hypocrisy I've noticed here. I see numerous posts and comments which condemn, bash, insult and make fun of christianity, yet when someone posts something that's even slightly critical of islam people get all up in arms. They claim that person is racist or a fascist and how dare they stereotype all muslims and I know some muslims who are great people. You can say the same thing about people in all religions. So why does no one have an issue when others are insulting christianity? Why here, are people so against criticizing islam?

It's a PC issue, peculiar to bourgeois libertines, of which this site has an abundance. Don't let it get to you. Learn to be more tolerant of others' hypocrisy!

Because Christians don't declare a fatwa and threaten to kill you for criticising the religion

I think the world would be a better place if everyone who believed in a superior being was evaporated from the Earth.

Most of the member on this site where raised as christian, before they realized the scam. its only personal to worry about your own issues first. If you talk to ex muslims or jews they would bash there own persoanl experience first before looking into other people problem. Its therapeutic, to be able to talk about your own sufferings.

I think people tend to be more critical of a religion with which they have had personal experience with, or which is the prevalent one in the society in which they grew up. Many Americans have sufferred judgment, poor treatment, or discrimination from Christians, but haven't been directly affected by Muslims in such ways. That's my take on it.

@JaciBea because I was directly impacted by the follies of Islam, I can relate to and recognise the level of morony and ignorance which causes them

I haven't seen that on this site at all, and l am on here way to fucking much.

@SallyMc Burn! ?

@JaciBea You haven't actually named or pointed out a single post to back your claim. If you can name just one, it still doesn't back your claim of many or of even a few.

@JaciBea They are all dangerous. ?

Interestingly enough, I've found, in my limited experience, that Muslims are more accepting of me being an Atheist than a Christian is.
