Sometimes I want to sound so smart truly then Socrates reminds me how fricking stupid I can be... knowledge is knowing that you know so little... while I’m bright I hate being reminded how little I know

I agree......the older I get the more I see how much I don’t know! I used to think I was a hot shit?

we all feel the same, keep on thinking free ,

Great song, thank for sharing.

As a teenager I did know everything! But the older I get the less I know. I look forward to not even knowing my own name when the sweet embrace of senility arrives.

The more I know, the more I understand there is so much more to know.... it's actually overwhelming at times....

Its funny how we all see things differently- I am the opposite and delight in my ignorance. The joy of learning is for me one of life's main pleasures and one of my favourite expressions is "I didn't know that!" 8)

That’s great truly for me the real learning is my love of reading... books are gems. I have to admit my love for reading I inherited from my brilliant but neurotic mother

WIN with self knowledge.

Isn't it kind of cool that we still have so much to learn though? As people and as humankind. Life would be boring if we knew it all! (As boring as someone who thinks they do probably lols)

Stop beating yourself up. Be grateful for what you know and remember that everyday you learn new things. A lot of so called smart people do not have an ounce of common sense.

You all allow that

I feel very lucky that I can, if I concentrate, understand a lot of what clever people say.

The more we learn the more we realize how much more there is to learn, you open a door and a dozen more doors are waiting for you and a dozen more beyond each of those doors, the doors are infinite.

Yet after listening to many of you I are start feeling like Von Gogh and want to cut an ear?????

@Millerski25 Free country, doubt anybody is going to lend you a knife though.

Oh i know the feeling....

I quit worrying about it years ago. These people that go on like they have all the answers really make me wonder how they can do such a thing.

I heard that truly

So why dwell on it ? And of what use is calling yourself stupid ?

I tried to be self depreciating, but I wasn't very good at it πŸ˜‰

@girlwithsmiles generally quite confident and feel good in my skin but even Achilles had his heal... mine is more like an appendage

@Millerski25 my comment was actually an attempt at humour, sorry, perhaps doesn't translate well to American!

@girlwithsmiles I almost think you have be Jewish or Irish to truly know the wonders of self deprication

I, on the other hand, truly enjoy being reminded how little I know. It gives me hope that there's so much more to learn and discover about the world we live in. It's always a good time when I find out that I've been wrong about something, but NOW I KNOW THE TRUTH!!!

Well said
