I'm a 52 year old disabled veteran but I recently had a surgery and feel right as rain. I'm so ready to join the living again! I'm a single mom of 2 right now but in 2 days it'll be three. I'm adopting another girl. They are 18, 18 and 24. My girls and grandchildren are my breath and life. I have 3 grandchildren. I live deep in the Bible Belt but plan to move once my youngest 2 are done with college and out on their own. That can't come fast enough. Family is everything to me and family doesn't just mean related by DNA. It's also those that become family through life. My best friend and I have been friends for 35 years. She's more like family than some of my blood relatives.
