I've lived two lives. During the first one, I strove to abide within the boundaries and expectations of my religion and family. I married two different women and had six children. I worked various jobs but was always involved in the music ministry of whatever church I was attending, and often earned all or part of my living from this activity. I believed fervently in the doctrines of evangelical Christianity and wrote songs about my faith. If you'd asked me if I was happy, I would have said yes. I would've been lying. In my second life, which began in the summer of 2012, I've discovered that there is nothing shameful or "sinful" about preferring to be intimate with a man rather than a woman
