Except it wasn't a fair fight. The Russians mobilized their social media bots to mobilize the GQP and Russians fed propaganda talking points to Fox and other conservative channels. It's very likely that numerous seats in the House and Senate went red as a result. The Electoral College enabled red state voters to have a huge advantage so each vote was worth much more that the votes from blue states. Then there's the gerrymandering to favor the GQP in the red states. And, Citizens United enables the GQP to raise money from corporations, which can be viewed as bribery or blackmail. The ultra conservative SCOTUS gave us this on even though the owners of corporations are never polled as to what party the corporation should support. 2016 and 2020 elections weren't fair, and were stolen by the GQP, but as standard operating practice, the GQP projected their own misdeeds as being committed by the democrats.

I'd have run out of my cash money but had the exceptional luck to find a fine lady who helps with the mortgage. Then I got an unexpected inheritance. That combined with refinance has given me a few more years in the house. My doctor diagnosed me with degenerative arthritis and that has severely impaired my mobility. I really didn't expect that. However, if I can lose the pounds put on during isolation, and if my anti-inflammatory lotion keeps working as well as it seem to, it may get better. My lady helps with my emotional state somewhat, but creates other issues.
