Whether we like it or not humanity's culture has grown hand and hand with religion. There is no possible way to separate it. Our current culture is due to religion (and vise versa). Without religion there is no Pyramids or Parthenon, there is no Brahms, no Shakespeare, no Oxford College. Some religions provide more than others to our culture. Now is everything that religion provided good? No, of course not. But gains aren't always good things.

I think people who need to go to church, that makes them feel like better people so that's ok. But going and listening to the teachings of the bible which is a fairy tail is ridiculous. The church does help people but its more of a tax free business than anything..
