Banning books is as ignorant as burning books, libraries, vandalizing archaeological sites, destroying or removing historical markers and war memorials, and banning or regulating what kind of flags people can fly.


WTF insane religious beliefs and practices are responsible for some of this


A closer look at the list shows many had the ban lifted...some were banned only in specific regions...some are just not imported...the list is shorter than it looks...but still disturbing...


I see some familiar titles there. It seems some books are a threat across geographic and ethnic lines. Maybe that's the hallmark of a truly great book 🙂


Seems like an oxymoron to call any country which bans books a democracy!


Awful lot of books about religion and biographies there. They are very thin skinned.
