How many people are considering moving outside the country regardless of who wins the next presidential election? I am getting weary of what seems to be ever increasing vitriol combined with ever oppressive economics that force us to live lower quality lives than previous generations. It just seems that expatriates in other countries lead much happier healthier lives.

If I could I totally would. I have my dog and I'm pretty sure I can't take her with me. A friend in Scotland said I should just leave the country when I can, but it seems like a far off dream..

Level 10

It may be 2022 before we are allowed of the country again. If I was not dependent on the VA for medical care I would already be out of the country. You really have to evaluate your total situation . I still may spend 6 months on six months off.
