He was widely ridiculed in the media and press for making such a crass statement, and when challenged said his point was misconstrued!….as they always do when they realise they’ve just made knobs of themselves in public. He’s the first Conservative MP to be elected to the Don Valley constituency in 200 years, only winning the seat at the 2019 election. Let’s hope the electors realise the error they made and throw him out at the next one.
