LINK A Major New Study Shows a Promising Solution to Gun Violence—That Doesn’t Involve Police – Mother Jones

Police do not and never have stopped crime. They respond to crime that has already happened. This program is the fix I've always said we need- job training, better schools, better quality child care with caregivers that are paid well (i mean, these are our KIDS!!), etc. We have to attack crime from the bottom up.

This has been shown to work, so I hope more cities will look into it. We have to start doing something different to get the gun deaths down, as our repub party will do nothing!
