One suggestion that works for some dudes ... tell jokes that are so good that people are bent double screaming, laughing til their belly muscles ache. Of course, not all of us are comedians and so this is not feasible for all people. If you are eccentric, search for eccentric women. Eccentrics only date other eccentrics.

@BitFlipper If you are creative, then you find something else. Me, I search out friends who are cat lovers, who think outside the box, who are eccentric.

@SKH78 this is all good, but perhaps you haven't had the experience where where nobody is interested. It doesn't matter the group or situation.

I also do not like the word "dating" ... I want to be with someone who is a friend .... we can go for walks around the lakes or to art festivals. Does not HAVE to be an activity that costs money. My "owls" are very visible too. Sigh.
