INFJ. As I look back over my life, I think my type/personality has affected my life a great deal. I have a hard time meeting people 💡, I hate situations that I perceive as unfair 🌼, and I abhor uncertainty to the extent that I would rather make a BAD decision than have to wait for more data to come in. It's not that I consciously say, "I want to make a bad decision." Rather, the psychological pressure to squelch uncertainty is so great that it drives out any possible reason to wait for more data to come in.

In actuality it all seems like bs to me but at the same time I really would like to understand myself better!

There are lots of resources out there. There's some science behide it. What does it measure exactly? Who knows?

I am INTJ too, but you do realise, I hope, that Myers-Briggs has no scientific standing. It is no more accurate than the personality quizzes you find in magazines.

@Arouet Look it up. Like most personality tests it has no scientific standing. It's fun though. I imagine it gives a reasonably good broad-brush picture - extrovert or introvert, for instance. I doubt the are any Es in this group.

@CeliaVL Like the IQ (intelligence) test. What is 'intelligence?' What, exactly does it measure??

@MojoDave I agree. You cannot measure something if you don't know what it is. It is like the word "Big". Does this mean tall, fat, heavy, wide or some combination of all of those?

@MojoDave A frequentlu heard view is that it measures your ability to do intelligence tests.
