Always some kind of con, & it always needs an "enemy"!
Same story, basically, told, without music, in a pretty good older flick...The Rainmaker (1956), Burt Lancaster, Katherine Hepburn.
Every generation has it's "demons". Next was that Devil's Music, Rock 'n' Roll!

I'll admit, I've succumbed to both!
@phxbillcee I remember the rock, pop, and rap songs being evil era. I hadn't heard of the jazz one. You're right about each generation having its own.
