Quick update....
Wow. What a few days. When the head gasket went on the Exploder, had someone said to me that I should buy a bike the day before the race, predict what time it would run over the quarter to within 12 thousandths of a second to qualify first and then defeat all comers all the way to the finals, I would have laughed at them and told them to come up with a realistic and achievable option.
But guess what? That's exactly what I did!!!!
I lost in the final to last year's champion Phil Pratt, due to a silly mistake on my part, but I am really pleased with how the weekend went.
The result puts me firmly second in the championship.
