How important are spoke wheels on an adventure bike? I am not doing jumps, but I will be going down dirt roads, trails and travel into the boonies.

Not that important for the occasional trail, but better for more serious off road.

@BeerAndWine The steel rim is more likely to flex on big impacts, whereas an alloy has a tendency to crack. I was lucky to find a cheap spare set on ebay over here in the UK for my Triumph Exploder - so I have a set with knobblies (spoked) and a set of sticky road tyres on the other set - also spoked because I couldn't find a set of alloys!
