@Gaiana My cousin who has my Grandmothers house southern Vermont needs 8 cords of wood to get through the winter . Thats a lot of work I'll take 98 degree summers in NC .
@Gaiana818 I hadn't heard of Summer SAD. I learn something new almost every day! I have winter SAD, so...
I hear you. My "budget" for heating oil went up from $108 a month to $190, and that's keeping the thermostat set at 60F. Not quite sure how I'm going to make it through this winter.
Hopefully next year I'll be all moved in up there.

Welcome! I think if I lived in a warmer house, I'd have a better perspective. It is pretty, though.
