If you are brought up from a child on it, it’s just like a religion! In Latin America & Europe it’s football...in India & Pakistan and the W,.Indies they feel the same way about cricket. I guess Americans have their baseball and American football, and the Welsh & New Zealanders & Aussies have rugby! They all bring out as much passion in their followers as any of the religions do!
@Marionville In Puerto Rico it was Baseball we even in middle school all the boys skipped school to play in a made up field not far from the school the girls in our class room turned us in with the only 2 boys that showed for class and no... we didn't got in trouble. basketball came later but boxing always been in the front but now after seeing way too many punch drunk old champions I won't mind if pro boxing is ever outlawed. You built a soccer field in Puerto Rico.... we will be playing Baseball.
Not for me. Am I getting stuffier as I age?

@Marionville Well I live in a pop loving community and I find that I'm getting less and less tolerant of all this thumping beat as if they can't figure out rhythms without it being explained.
@rogerbenham Rock music is hardly new though...is it...it’s been around for more than 60 years! Did you never like music with a heavy beat, even when you were young?
@Marionville Long time ago! Yes I was a Cliff fan then a Stones fan but then Pink Floyd. And that sort of lead to New age. All of my folk music did not involve drums. By 1975 I was going back to my roots in the sense that I likely had Bach played on 78's whilst in my cradle. My eldest brother never liked pop music. I liked the dreamy stuff of Floyd rather than any of their beat stuff.
I like David Guetta and I like his music genre: electronic dance music, house progressive, house electro, house dance-pop or whatever they want to call it!
